DMI Global Die Conference - 24th - 26th October 2006

DMI Die Open Day - Wednesday 27th October 2004
The bi-annual DMI Die Open Day was held at Tecnocrom Industrial SA in Barcelona, Spain.

Both DMI (UK) and DMI (Europe) have introduced larger facilities for the hard chromium plating of press dies and plastic moulding dies.
DMI (UK) capacity has been increased to 5.2m max. length x 20000Kg max. weight.
DMI (Europe) capacity has been increased to 6.5m max. length x 20000Kg max. weight.

Press Die Hard Chromium Plating
Increased demand by our customers world-wide has led to the expansion of facilities offering the DMI process.
Within the past 18 months DMI has expanded it's die hard chromium plating business with the introduction of the process into three new plants in South Korea, Mexico and Brazil.
Extensive training of key personnel was carried out at existing workshops in Japan, the USA and the UK.
On site training by staff from our Japanese, US and UK facilities has also been carried out at the new factories.
The introduction of the DMI process has led to a quicker more consistent service together with significant improvements in quality and reliability.
