DMI DRECHSLER
The DMI (Drechsler) process enables piston rods for all types of 2-stroke engines to be fully reconditioned back to original size quickly and economically. The process eliminates the need for undersized rods and non standard sealing and scraper equipment. |
| The process provides a hardness
of over 500 HV, giving a high resistance to wear. Piston rods processed for Sulzer RTA 84 engines have been in service for in excess of 30,000 running hours without measurable wear. |
